Integrated Cleaning Management Ltd (ICM) is delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Sinclair as a Member for the FDQ Award Board.
FDQ is an awarding organisation for NVQ and VRQ training courses and is committed to increasing the profile of qualifications for the cleaning industry. As an Awarding organisation, FDQ ensures that the processes and procedures for awards are strictly adhered to, and that standards of assessment are maintained.
Whilst at ICM, Sinclair has developed a close working relationship with Telford College, an NVQ service provider. A roll-out programme has been implemented for cleaning supervisors at level 2 cleaning, as well as the creation of a programme of customer service NVQs for the middle management group. With extensive experience in the cleaning industry, particularly in training and health and safety roles, Sinclair was the natural choice to join FDQ's Award Board to represent the cleaning industry perspective.

We have taken significant steps to develop a standard of training and assessment at ICM based on the NVQ competences within our business,' commented Paul Rafferty, MD of ICM. 'Ian's appointment will ensure that we are able to take an active role in policy-making, as well as the future development of national NVQs for the cleaning industry.'
