The Director's of ICM recognise and acknowledge their legal and moral responsibilities in relation to the promotion of safe working practices at all times and are fully committed to developing, implementing and promoting a positive and sustainable culture of health and safety through out all levels of the organisation in order to safeguard both theirs and their clients employee's.
The organisation will develop systems and procedures as part of an overall commitment to a process of continual improvement with the target of year on year reductions of accidents / incidents within the business.
ICM will strive to deliver first class cleaning services at all times without knowingly or intentionally forsaking safety at any time.
The Director's of ICM Are committed to a positive culture of health and safety at all levels of the organization while working towards a programme of continuous development and improvement of its systems and procedures.
ICM are SAFEcontractor accredited and undergo an annual assessment of its systems, policies and procedures in order to retain this accreditation.
The organization fully recognizes that its greatest strength and asset is its employees and that all of our clients want professional, trained cleaning operatives working on their premises. ICM have their own bespoke induction and training programme called The S.A.F.E Programme (Safety Awareness For Employees) which includes the issuing to every employee an Employee H&S Handbook which includes the full H&S policy and associated arrangements, discusses risk assessments, accident and emergency procedures and COSHH.
» Commitment to Training
ICM were recognized for their commitment to the training of their employees by being awarded the Fred Mallion Cup for being 'Adjudged Best Company for Training and Qualifications 2009' with one of our operatives receiving the 'Cleaning NVQ of the Year Award' for their dedication and inspiration.
These were awarded by FDQ who are awarding body vocational qualifications.
A working partnership has been formed with Telford College of Arts and Technology who are the organisations preferred NVQ service provider. In conjunction with Telford over one thousand cleaners have been enrolled in and successfully achieved NVQ Level 2 in cleaning and support services. This training is in addition to the in-house SAFE Programme.
On completion of the cleaning NVQ a number of our supervisors are embarking on a Team Leading qualification to further advance and under pin their existing skill base and knowledge.
